SaffronSeal is built by VN Signing Services LLC to do two things well: make it easy to find a trustworthy notary anywhere in the country, and make it worthwhile for notaries to show up and do the work.
Most notaries who join a big marketplace run into the same trade-off: give up control of your schedule and your pricing in exchange for volume, or stay independent and spend more time marketing yourself than notarizing documents. And a lot of the well-known networks either charge notaries a subscription just to be listed, or hire notaries as employees and dictate the terms of every job.
We think there's a better version of this: a nationwide directory and booking tool that costs Notaries nothing to join, pays a transparent 80% of every fee, and never takes away your independent-contractor status — while giving Customers and Companies a straightforward way to find someone qualified, verified, and available.
SaffronSeal is in public beta. Search and booking are open nationwide, and Stripe handles every payment and payout so money moves safely from day one — but the notary network itself is still growing city by city. If you search a smaller market today, you may see fewer notaries than you will in a few months.
That's deliberate: we'd rather onboard notaries carefully — commission, insurance, and background check verified before anyone goes live — than inflate the numbers with unverified listings. We're actively recruiting notaries in every state; if you don't see coverage in yours yet, that's the gap we're closing right now.
No subscription, no listing fee, no monthly minimum. Notaries keep 80% of every booking, and we only make money when they do.
Notaries on SaffronSeal are independent contractors, not employees of a call center. You set your own service area, hours, and specialties.
A notary can't accept bookings until we've verified a current commission, E&O insurance, and a background check. That gate exists before search visibility, not after a complaint.

SaffronSeal is operated by VN Signing Services LLC, a Nyza Creations brand. We handle the Platform, the credential-verification process, and payment processing; every notarization itself is performed by the independent Notary you book, under the terms of our Notary Agreement.
